A reimagining of the Arthurian legends in which Meryle Evanders, Merlin's cousin, is the main protagonist.
It's been eleven years since King Arthur was crowned and Merlin became his advisor. Now in their mid-twenties, Arthur and everyone in Camelot is strong and prosperous. When Meryle is invited to Camelot, she's thrilled to explore the castle and its surroundings. Her excitement quickly dissolves when she overhears a dangerous secret being kept within the castle's walls. When Merlin asks her to go on a quest with Lancelot, she's reluctant but eventually agrees to go. What she learns on the quest will shock her and make her rethink what she thought she knew.
